Mark turned his attention to the movie and waited for the moment that one of them noticed the swap. That moment never came as instead, Mark heard Mary and Carly talking like everything was normal. Looking over at them, Mark noticed something odd going on.
“Mommy, we have pizza for dinner? I love pizza,” Mary said with Carly’s voice. Carly looked up at Mary and smiled.
“You know what dear, since you asked nicely, we can!” Carly responded in Mary’s voice. Mark just watched this unfold as he was confused as to what the hell had happened. It seemed Mary noticed as she turned to look at Mark.
“You’re welcome for pizza, Marky,” Mary said as Mark realized his mother was now speaking identical to how Carly normally spoke. Mark just forced a fake laugh and smile as he turned away, still trying to figure out what was going on. Eventually, it hit him what had happened.
Being that Carly and Mary swapped heads, their brains were also swapped as a result. With that, Carly and Mary now had control over each other’s bodies. To them, they were unaware of the swap and simply saw their bodies as normal.
(Going forward, the name of the head will override the name of the body. What that means is Mary’s body with Carly’s head will be referred to as Carly while Carly’s body with Mary’s head will be referred to as Mary. Basically, whoever controls the body is whose name will be used)
