It would be safe to say Aticua is a hick town off the beaten path. If you wanted to live a quiet life where nothing exciting ever happened, it would be easy to do. Between the elves in the nearby Krimwold Forest, the plains giants living to the east, and of course you and Gillea, nothing was ever allowed to disturb the tranquility of the denizens of Aticua.
There were exactly two taverns in Aticua, and the decision about which tavern to go to on any given night depended on whether you felt like playing “Bones” that night (“Bones” is a game played with small tile pieces).
You were meeting the four novice adventurers in the “No Bones” tavern.
The de facto leader of the group was Orlan, a six foot tall human male, a priest of Tyrwin, god of justice. A rather handsome priest, in your opinion, though his beard and other features were too sculpted in your opinion.
Armsan, a half-elf male sitting at Orlan’s right, was a knight in the order in the service of Tyrwin. Though not as tall as Orlan, he was just as handsome, and just as sculpted. Armsan’s was fair skinned, blue eyed and blonde, reflecting his elvish parenthood.
Then there was Kitya, a female Bayata Doduggwa. The Bayata are human in appearance, except that they have shell like ears, line markings on their necks and shoulders, and tuftless leonine tails. Bayatas are East Asian in appearance, and are unusually agile and dexterous. Bayatas are natural explorers. The Doduggwa is a class that combines aspects of a common thief, an acrobat, a rock climber and a Shaolin monk.
Finally, there was Teacup Rose, a female pixie sorceress. Pixies are human in appearance, though substantially smaller (the average female is five and a third inches high). They are South Asian in appearance. Pixies can leap as high as nine feet, and have a natural feather fall ability. Teacup Rose uses her inherent mystical nature to tap into the wild magic of the Fey Realm.
The four are there to recruit you and Gillea to help them defeat _______________________ guarding a treasure they want to recover.
