Victoria Housekeeping is looking for new employees

The night in New Eridu was a tapestry of light and shadow, where flickering neon lights competed with the darkness of the alleys. Wise, still shaken by his recent discoveries, walked along one of the less-traveled avenues, trying to gather his thoughts. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the gloom. He was a tall man, impeccably dressed, wearing a butler's uniform that seemed straight out of another era. His presence exuded a mixture of courtesy and authority. "Mr. Wise, is that correct?" he said in a calm voice. Wise stopped, surprised. "Have we met?" "Not officially. Allow me to introduce myself: I am Von Lycaon, an agent for Victoria Housekeeping Co." Wise frowned. He had heard of that organization; they were said to offer cleaning and maintenance services, but there were also rumors that they were involved in more... delicate matters."What do you wish of me?" Von Lycaon gave a faint smile. "We have observed certain... anomalies in your recent behavior." Wise felt a chill run down his spine. "I don't know what you're talking about." "Of course. However, we believe your abilities could be extremely useful for a mission that requires discretion and... unconventional talents." Wise looked at him warily. "What kind of mission?" "An entity has been interfering with inter-factional communications. We need to identify and neutralize it." Wise considered the proposal. His new powers gave him a unique advantage, but also exposed him to unknown risks. "And if I refuse?" Von Lycaon inclined his head slightly. "We will respect your decision. However, I advise you to consider the implications of your uncontrolled abilities." Wise nodded slowly. He knew he was on dangerous ground, but he also understood that he couldn't ignore what was coming.
