As you sat on the couch next to her, you began to notice Jane was muttering something under her breath. Confused, you tried your best to listen but could t quite make out what she was saying. It all sounded like mumbling or some strange language. As the mumbling went on, you began to notice it was harder to move your body. It felt as if you had to use all your force just to raise your hand. In matter of seconds, you couldn’t move at all. You wanted to scream but your mouth wouldn’t open. Jane looked at you and smiled.

“What’s wrong Mark, cat got your tongue?” She laughed as you could only sit there and watch. Jane reached her arm out and gave your body a poke as your body didn’t move a single inch. She smiled as she got up and celebrated.

“This is great. My practice has paid off,” she said as she pranced around the room. After her mini celebration, she decided it was time to explain what was happening.

“You’re probably very confused why you can’t move. Well let me tell you, I’m a witch,” she laughed. “All these years of the bullying and being compared to you has gotten to me. It’s always ‘Mark’s sister is such an ugly pig,’ or ‘You’ll never be as popular as me.’ I can’t take it anymore. But soon, I won’t have to deal with it. You see, I have a spell that allows me or someone else to swap whatever I want with you. I could steal everything from you and let you live my life or I could maybe ruin you some other way. Easy to be the favorite when I make you into something like the town slut.”

You could only panic deep down as your sister continued to rant. You wanted to say all of this was bullshit but seeing as you couldn’t move at all right now, you had to believe it. You were now left at the mercy of your sister. The question now was where would she begin.
