You and Futaba had been sitting alone at Leblanc, eating curry and just talking. She’d come a long way. A real long way. Of course, she still had her stronger suits. Right now, she was bragging about how proficient she was at video games.
“There’s literally not a game you could ever beat me at.”
Futaba declared it matter-of-factly, a huge cheesy grin plastered over her face. Of course, she was right, but you couldn’t help but feel competitive. Surely she couldn’t be good at every game. A slight smile turned up your lips. There were a few games upstairs that you’d spent a few nights at that you were positive she couldn’t have played.
“I think I’ve got a game I could beat you at, no problem.”
Futaba just looked at you like you were stupid, dark brown eyes mocking you.
“L take.”
Then she turned her attention back to her curry, leaving you sitting there.
“What?”
Futaba stuffed more food in her mouth, in no hurry to respond to you. Once she’d taken a few more bites, she turned.
“You can’t do it. There’s no way.”
You tried to egg her on.
“Prove it then.”
“Nah. Not worth my time.”
She finished her bowl and then took it behind the counter. You’d never felt so disrespected in your life.
“What if there were stakes?”
Now she paused. Slowly, she set her plate in the sink, then turned to you with a hand on her hip. Her orange hair hung around her face as an interested smile curved her lips.
“You’ve got my attention. Let’s say that the loser has to do whatever the winner wants for the rest of the night!”
“Fine. You’re on.”

Predictably, you lost. It wasn’t even close. Futaba smiled sinisterly as she jumped up, fists pumping the air!
“Woohoo! Now about that bet…”
What happens next?
1) Futaba wants to start slow. You can rub her feet while she plays her new game.
2) Futaba’s gaming chair is uncomfortable. Your face should make a nice replacement.
