Ricky is the baby of the family, and unfortunately he has snuck off on his own again. This is a common occurrence as with so many people in the house it's easy to assume someone else is in charge of the baby. As a family you've started a system where one person has to declare they're watching Ricky and hand off the baby if they can no longer do it, but unfortunately you were the last one on Ricky duty... which means you are now alone with a giant baby and no one knows to look for either of you.
Ricky for his part has only just started walking, and most of the time he still crawls on all fours instead. This is what your baby is doing now as he crawls towards you, his massive chubby form shaking as he awkwardly rocks back and forth on the weight of his own arms. Ricky's looking right at you with those young observant eyes that always get praised so much by outsiders, but right now are making you a bit uneasy as you look at your youngest son.
If you try to explain what happened, will Ricky even understand you? Ricky can speak, but most of it is still gibberish or just a few words demanding a specific treat or service. And even if Ricky does understand you're his shrunken father, Ricky is too young to have developed any empathy yet. He constantly throws his toys at other members of daycare and just wrinkles his nose in distaste when other people cry or are in pain. There's no telling if Ricky will have enough cognitive maturity to understand you need help and be willing to give it; in fact, he might delight in your misfortune instead and treat you like any number of things beneath him.
