The Pit

Freeverse poem Some will understand it some won't but please send your opinions of it

The pit is long
The pit is wide
The pit is deep
The pit is filled with utter darkness
We are all falling in this pit
All that lives is falling
Yet almost all blind themselves to the fall
They pretend that they control the fall
but none control the fall
all they can do is reach the bottom faster
and at that bottom is death.
