What lies within my heart

It’s a place for listening, truly hearing
A place for loving, a place for sharing
My heart I share freely, no strings attached

It’s simply the love that’s felt in my heart

It’s the place within me that is most daring
It’s the place for listening, the beginning to caring
My heart cries out for all the wrongs done
My heart is open to everyone

It’s the place within that’s most concealing
Yet if you look hard enough, the place most revealing
It’s the place inside where all things start
A special place that’s called my heart
