A feeling most feel at one time or another

I feel nothing inside
No knight in shining armor
Spirit withering now
I feel nothing within
Gone is my will to fight the inevitable
No white knight to share my dreams
I walk the path leading to nowhere
Fail to notice beauty any longer
I care not where my wandering feet will lead me
Can’t go on pretending I’m not hurting within
Am no longer a free spirit
No knight to save me from despair
Trust faded and forever gone
