Halloween Poem |
| The Witches' Dance At midnight by bright firelight On the night they call Halloween Circling 'round in gossamer gowns Witches dance on the village green. They raise their hands and whisper their chants To their Mother the Harvest Moon. Beneath Her gaze, their voices raise In an otherworldly tune. They gather here this time every year Weaving their magical charms. They whirl and they spin, breathing spells to the wind To keep those they love safe from harm. All witches come down from field and town. Bring your magic and let it be seen Beneath the moonlight on this wonderful night, The night that they call Halloween. |
