In remembrance

When you lose someone speacial your world turns upside down (a work in progress)

That day, that sunny day
would soon turn to a solemn gray
The news I received sent me to a dark abyss
Turning my heart and soul into a heavy weight
as I thought of his sweet lips and our last faithful kiss
The world still moved on, even as I withered in agony,
the tears slipping down my face
Those awful words still pounding in my head
until I too wished to be dead
