poem about rain and love |
| The misty red sky lines silhouettes of trees and rooftops As I watch through curtain like rain Porch lights glow and reflect on the wet streets The eerie lulling in its own beauty is so arcane I sit in silence and absorb the surrounding resonance It sedates you into a trance like condition With aesthetic poise the night exhales an ambiance Every single element is pieced into a perfect composition This seemingly simplistic awe can never be captured Not with a roll of film nor with any lens Not with any voice or somber melody Not even poetic words can seize this picturesque sense There is only one thing I know that can replicate this feel It billows deep from within the heart and gleams in his eyes Only a love like this can manifest such a transfixion And to my only love this feeling is incapable of disguise |
