#*&?!

Just my thoughts right after being stung by a wasp

I'm not one to say bad words
almost anyone would agree.                                                         
But I am going to use one now
cuz a damn ol' wasp just bit me!

I don't know what he was thinking
when he jabbed that stinger in.
But that stupid little sucker
sent me right into a spin.

I dropped the apple that I beheld
as I felt the shocking sting.
I screamed in pain as I turned and ran
far away from that #*&?! thing.

If I hadn't been so wimpy
I'd have taken a deep breath or two,
then stomped right back over there
and murdered him with my shoe!

But alas, he's free to fly around
to do more harm with his butt.
And me? Well I'm now safe inside
and going to stay put.

I've got my laptop and a Pepsi,
ice and WD-40 spray,
(they say it helps in easing the pain...)
and here I sit for the rest of the day.
