A little look inside my mind sometimes

When will I realize
That I am not the man
I try to be
I put on a face for the world to see
A clown of sorts
A happy
        Content
            Loving man
It is but a façade
Built up around a dark shell
Hiding the hurt and pain
That I will cause to all who enter
I am living a lie behind this smile
Do I dare let you in?
