This is a Shakespearean-style love sonnet I had to write for English. |
| The hour of loneliness is now deceased Only bliss and serenity remain Strange how love is both a powerful beast And a meek being, so hard to obtain It’s action, emotion, and state of mind That often starts as shy hesitation But both destined parties will quickly find Intense overwhelming fascination Leaders of the world may fall and crumble The sun itself may breathe its final breath Men may fall from pride, however humble But even if all else on earth sees death Starry-eyed couples see just each other Narcotized by love, they will not suffer |
