This inspiration comes from my brother, who passed in 1989

You were my self-preservation;
three in one; identity and combination.

You were my hero; my king.
My guide to accomplishing just about anything.

Love defines you; your labeled tattoo.
Family togetherness is accomplished by you.

Taking me as your own; sharing unconditional love.
I was your mirror; never a grudge.

You taught me how to press and reach the final mark.
Remember the basics; for the winning part.

You say battles fought with humbleness always win.
Allowing wisdom; not revenge.

Now that your spirit has left the grave;
your preservation for me
has created better days.
