Sanctuary (the Interlude)

A small interlude of my story 'Sanctuary'

All this time
When you thought forever was eternal
You hide inside your shell
inside your sanctuary


Everything was save and sound
Your heart never broke and your body never felt pain
Until suddenly forever comes to an end


Your sanctuary was shattered
and the calm song of your life was interrupted
a very new and strange interlude


You were suddenly blinded by the freedom the world offers
Yet you were bound by the chains called fear


What will you do when your sanctuary finally broke down?
