What brings happiness is emotional, spiritual connection to the world.

The sound of music rings in my mind
Listing all the lovely things I find
Things that make me happy and glad
Things that wipe away the darkness and sad.

Yes, music brings me happiness and a smile
It chases away my demons and all I find a trial
Writing paints my world and helps me along the way
It guides my life and steadies me as I play.

Long walks in nature's grand cathedral
Clear my mind and let me off the carousel
Spirit meets me and together we convene
Beauty lifts me and lightness leaves me serene.

These are the things that bring me happiness
Joy and contentment keep me from aimlessness.
A purpose I find in connecting within
Brings happiness out and much love in.
