My Best Friend


Today I marry my best friend.

We shall walk side by side.

Not in front or behind each other, but as one.

We shall tackle all things in our path to preserve our life together.

I shall never waver from my love for you.

For it is the strongest thing that I know.

As we go through our life together, I want you to remember,

No matter what we do throughout our day, at the end of it.

It will always be you and I.

As we enjoy our life together in the years to come.

We shall divide our chores so that we may enjoy the fruits of our labor.

And as we grow old together, may we cherish all the joys and obstacles in our path.

May our love blossom, as our friendship grows stronger.

Remember to always hold me, to kiss me, but most of all to say, "I love you"
