Ode to California Beaches

Needing to cool down from the summer heat, I recommend a couple of days here.

Ode to California Beaches

Oh, how I long to be cool,
on the sandy beaches I'm no fool.

So off to Pismo Beach and Morro Bay I go,
searching for my glow.

So I walked on the sandy beach,
I could feel that it was within my reach.

I felt my lips starting to curl upwards,
as the sun shines downwards.

I had a big beautiful smile,
that it was as long as a mile.

As I walk the beaches of sand,
placing seashells in my hand.

Now my search is over,
for the beach is so much colder.

June 28, 2018 to Aug 1, 2018; This is dedicated to my family and friends who treated me to a much needed vacation to spend time with them. I love every one of you so much. May our love for each other continue to stay strong and grow even more. I will miss you when I go home and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
