A poem for the Writing 4 Kids Contest

Big shoes,
small shoes,
everywhere you look,
shoes.
Fancy shoes,
dancing shoes,
running, climbing, hiking shoes.
Worn out and brand new shoes.

Boots for skis
sandals for seas,
sneakers for trees,
slippers for ease.

Memory molds
into the soles,
places we've been,
the sun on our skin.
