After the writing and editing are done. The launch is like jumping into a dark void.

I definitely did not anticipate the nervousness of the launch with my first book. I thought it would be fun and exciting. It was to some extent, until I realized the reality of the typical new author. The promotion and success is largely on your shoulders. The work was far from over and I was not prepared for the first launch. Like jumping into a dark void.
After the writing and editing are done. The launch is like jumping into a dark void.
