A SPECIAL FRIEND

This is written for The Poetic Bear - a true friend!

I feel as though he
has just looked into my soul,

And found the goodness there -

Overlooking my human frailties,

And bringing out the best that
sometimes only he can see -

Aye, that he can see the life
behind the tears and smiles

Is indeed a miracle -

For I write usually of what I feel,

Emotions ranging from joy to sadness,

He has managed to focus
on the better part of me.

I am deeply honored that he can see
not only the words I write,

But that he can look into my heart
and see the soul..

He is, and will always be,

A forever friend..
