The lighter side of love... |
| Author's Note: Two poems based on the below were published in Clean Sheets Encased in lace, silk drawn across my skin, a tumult of senses wrapped in satin sheets, fingers brush my face and I am melting within, my walls destroyed through wondrous feats. Set alight and seeking more, I shout, burning for kisses to stoke the fire, to deepen the flames whilst I cry out yearning, consuming myself with desire. Ravished by an invading tongue, I quiver, a finely tuned guitar played by expert hands; rocked by the torrents of climax, I shiver, swept away, lulled softly onto tamer lands. Lay me down gently, stroke me down slowly, lips reaching out for mine, hungering for a taste, lovemaking transformed into something nearly holy, drowned in sensation, passion a worship without haste. The romance of fused bodies by candlelight, a symphony of sighs, the melody of moans, pleasures in the night, a goddess of delight, my naked flesh the landscape in which you roam. |
