I retired from a career in education: teacher then principal. I was in the Air Force in the early '60s and have been a piano technician and am a father, grandfather and great grandfather. I like to write: essays, short stories, poetry and a children's book (not published.) One of my goals was to be a writer but somehow work always interfered, funny how that works...and a jazz musician once upon a time...seems that talent is required; who knew. I have been an avid reader since learning how: serial boxes if necessary, My hobbies include reading, writing, caring for my German shepherd, weaving, spinning wool into yarn, and knitting.
