| When I was young, in 7th grade, I was depressed. Like, the doctor said so. I was a small girl, not well-liked in school, no friends, no place to run. At times I entertained suicidal thoughts (obviously never went through with them). Then one day I picked up a pen and started writing a story. Instantly life was brighter, more colorful. I could breathe again. I haven't put the pen down since. |
