Brief insights into my writing world. |
I started my blog in June 2016, intending to have a place to get my stories in the hands of readers. I started with one follower -- my wife. Seven years later, I am creeping toward 500 followers. I post a daily quote, as well as short stories, vignettes, and updates on our rebuilding project. You can find my Tavern Tales at: https://jjshaun.com/ Enjoy! |

He’s waiting on a part to complete the system, then we’ll be able to open the water valves and see if any leaks occur. With luck, the plumbing will be ready for inspection late in the week. 🤞🏼 Pictures are at: http://jjshaun.com/2023/10/01/rebuilding-the-dream-pt-153/ |
This past week saw more progress on the basement level. The downstairs level saw progress as they put in the slider and added treads to the stairs. Earlier this week, we met with Mr. Sub-Contractor to discuss stairs, windows, siding, decks, and the basement door. Our original idea was to have a wrap-around deck, but with the cost of materials right now, that won’t happen. Read the full post here: https://jjshaun.com/2023/07/23/rebuilding-the-dream-pt-145/ |
