PROMPT: September 25th - What manner of creature is your Muse and how do you feed it? Where does it live and does it ever escape your control? I've answered this question numerous times in the past. Each time I've answered it the answer was slightly different because of the changes that took place in my life since the last time I answered the question. Today my muse is The Bab, Baha'u'llah, and 'Abdu'l-Baha. The reason for this is that the closer I get to my physical death the more I focus on the spiritual. I find that reading the prayer, reading the sacred writings, and meditation helps me write poetry. I do have some novel starts and short stories in my port; however, lately I've found myself more interesting in wring poetry rather the stories. I might attempt a novel during NaNoWriMo this year, I haven't decided yet. At this point I'm more interested in reading and reviewing stories and novels, while writing poetry. |
