| PROMPT January 10th If you could have free, unlimited service for 5 years from an extremely good cook, chauffeur, housekeeper, masseuse, or personal secretary, which would you choose, and why? Well a house cleaner would be nice but I think I’d feel lazy or guilty as I’m quite capable of doing my own housework, plus it keeps me fit. What I’d really like would be a gardener. My husband does the half acre of garden which we have but he’s getting older and he wouldn’t say no to some help. I like to cook my own meals so would actually hate to have a person in my kitchen cooking. I like to drive myself. After I reach eighty in three years time we have to have driving tests annually. Maybe then a chauffeur would be lovely. I don’t like massages, so that wouldn’t be useful. The way I look at it is whilst you can do things yourself then you should. One day it will probably be different and I’ll need all of the above. Till then thanks but no thanks. |
