| PROMPT January 21st What’s one thing you wanted to do in 2020 that you couldn’t do or didn’t get to do? Will you make it happen in 2021? Same as many people 2020 was going to be my travel abroad year. I just, only yesterday, received a $3000 refund on a holiday planned and cancelled to Singapore. I’d changed it to credit hoping to at least use it somewhere in Australia but it’s risky to even book a holiday interstate as the borders keep closing at the drop of a hat. I don’t want to go in hotel quarantine for two weeks just to get back home. This is happening all to often for comfort. Case in point the international tennis players who are here in Oz for the Australian Open. Forced to quarantine because of positive cases on their flights. I was happy to receive my refund though, I wasn’t expecting them to give it. So I’m lucky. John wants to buy a new generator with part of the refund. Mmm? Not as exciting as a week in a swish resort. |
