Oh, Lyn, your poor son and daughter in law. How awful to lose two babies and for you too of course. It’s something you never really recover from. I’m so sorry.
I can relate to the holding your breath. My second son and his wife lost their daughter at 37 weeks, Samantha was a stillbirth. He was in the Navy and the delivery was at a Navy hospital, so an autopsy wasn't done. When they tried again, the doctor said it was a high-risk pregnancy. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to keep Logan alive. The placenta ruptured and Logan didn't survive. It's harder being an observer than the participant as I'm sure you know all to well.
Our country seemed determined to put a criminal in power who wants to turn our country into a dictatorship similar to Hitler's rule in Germany. I don't understand why they're so blinded by his evil.
Great entry and so wonderful that you can now recall a few tiny moments.
And I so agree with you in that we don't really recall our childhoods well enough and out of fantasy, we project happiness to those years. Still, I suspect your farm life had to be fun and educational, although it may have seemed hard to you as a child.
So sorry with what happened to your daughter. She definitely needs help and it is wonderful that you can listen to her. Maybe you might suggest that she keeps a daily journal. Most therapists advise that. Best of ;uck!
