Welcome to writing.com which we abbreviate here as WdC. First, congratulations for having your poem "Water Born" published in the "Authors Newsletter" It is an honor to be recognized there. It looks like you are able to post and get around so far. Using the links at the top called Getting Started and Writing.com 101 gives you much information you need. I am a mentor if you need help with writing your biography. Thanks for reading my piece "The Letter" for which I received a formal email with a place to send you a response which I shall do after I finish writing this. Again Welcome. There are a lot of things like groups and writing contests if you want to do things like that in addition to your writing. Our main focus here is to read and review each other's work. You may hear someone call you a "Newbie" which is the term of endearment we use for people who are here for under a year. If you need help setting up a guest book I can show you. Here is a place if you haven't been there where you can introduce yourself and start getting to know other authors.
