EXCELLENT! Wow, this author has hit a nerve within me that struck and sung so loud and deeply it nearly hurts. This writing gives us a beautiful description of a tender and sweet love that is wanting to express itself, but unsure of how well. It flows smoothly and reaches deep within the reader. Great job!

Review of Forever Yours  Open in new Window.
Rated: E | (4.0)
The poem was beautiful. The whole setting was tender and sweet. A love poem indeed. I did have a problem. In the beginning, it starts off with a rhyme pattern, then the second stanza through the rest of the poem is more free verse. I would recommend changing that first stanza. Otherwise, there were no errors, and it flows smoothly and is easy to read.

Review of A Heart So Wild  Open in new Window.
Rated: E | (5.0)
Beautifully written, the truth in these words are whispered on the wind, and can only be heard if the one listening wants to hear them. But, in the end, it is always one truth that is found through all of the darkness or mist. I found no errors in this poem.

Review of Still Singing...  Open in new Window.
Rated: ASR | (5.0)
A grim picture painted in the beginning of this poem, but the truth is...the ending holds the prize. The fought for freedom is what is the best song that was ever sang. This one, is no less. It flows smoothly and is well-written. Thank you for sharing!

Review of Icicles on Trees  Open in new Window.

I had a really hard time with this one. Not that it wasn't well-written, but for me it just did not flow as smoothly. I could nearly hear the descriptions as the writer does give them so vividly, but for some reason, this one just did not connect with me.

Review of Eternal Darkness  Open in new Window.
Rated: E | (5.0)
A deep and dark poem. Waiting through the darkness sometimes is the hardest battle of them all. Especially when a sign of death surrounds the person waiting. This poem describes the scene so well, that it can send chills down the reader's spine. Very good!

A well-written poem that expresses what the reader sees within the words. The painting may not be visible to the reader on this poem, but it paints a portrait of a reader's ability to see the picture through the words they read. I found no errors and enjoyed reading this poem and understanding the connection.

Review of ANGLE EYE'S  Open in new Window.
Rated: 18+ | (5.0)
And yet, do wondering eyes see the truth, hidden so deeply within. A memory, lost in the years, but burns as brightly as the day it was lit. Given life with words, will it ever deminish? Probably not. But, this poem of words, strung together will forever enshrine them.

Review of I Remain  Open in new Window.
Rated: E | (5.0)
A new look at poetry, this author has given so much insight in the writing that the reader feels the depth of the emotions with ease. Connection is the key, and the author here has no problem connecting the reader with the work. If only the work would connect the life. Great job!

Sherri gives us the ability to send up this prayer in times of need, or just times of contiplation. A prayer written in poetry to ask for that which we always need. The peace of faith and the hope of peace. I found no errors in this poem, and enjoyed the smoothness immensely. Thank you for sharing.

Deep and intense. In the beginning the reader wonders at the beauty the writer expresses so gently and sweet. Then the reality is given. I found no errors, and this poem flows smoothly. Great job!

Nicely written. This poem expresses the feelings of moving, getting away, but not knowing how or when. Feeling inadequate to motivate, needing the freedom, but the pain still holds on and pulls one down into the deep abyss. I found no errors. Good job.

This is an inspiring and very touching. Bringing forth emotions that blend together to create what appears to be a mass of confusion, but the reader must read through this to find the truth. The rhyme pattern was a bit off. I slowed the reading just a bit, but there were no spelling or grammar errors. Good job.

Sweetness on the heels of sadness. This poem is absolutely beautiful and rings true for the love of a father. It is easy to relate to with how close to my father I am. And the ability to still say "Daddy" is the key that gives this poem the true beauty. It flows smoothly and is well-written. Great job!

Review of Goodbye My Sister  Open in new Window.
Rated: E | (5.0)
A nearly devestating and beautiful poem. The love for a sister that shines through even after death can only be felt when the two siblings are very close. An angel on earth, and one in eternity, this poem shows the love with perfect shining light. An excellent job. The title catches the attention, but the description using "I have seen death...." really catches the reader's attention, drawint them in.

Excellent. This poem gives vivid descriptions to the horses as well as the desert. Showing life once sustained in that area no longer can withstand the pain it causes. It is well-written. Congratulations on this being in the monthly newsletter. It is well-deserving!

This poem is a beautiful and inspiring write. The author reminds us once of the tragedy that happened and how love can build the bridge from hurt to healing. Review of Please Choose Me  Open in new Window.

This story is such a sweet and truthful story. The sadness in the beginning is overcome by the true spirit of the child towards the end. This story is left for the reader to wonder at how it will end, and could be just the beginning of a whole new story.
