A touching and rewarding poem.

I sense the author has regret in love and has hurt. This is what I sensed from the writing.

The poem itlsef has true meaning and a deeper message for all to adhere. Life is exactly like the writer shows, hard, unforgiving at times.

I liked this poem very much. I sense it was from the heart, which is the best place for poems of this quality.

Nice job!

Review of To Crush A Rose
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: ASR | (4.5)
A very dark, painful and emotional poem. I feel that the writer poured him/herself out through this poem.

I truly liked the wording, flow and emotioanl pain the poem reveals.

My favorite stanza was;
You leave me to lie in this pool of roses
The smell sickens my senses
Roses are dead, my heart joins them
Darkness plays with my heart like a puppet
With strings of hate and pain

I feel this is the best stanza, but they are all quality. This one just struck me the best.

Great job!

An interesting poem and format. I noticed a few mispellings and typos, but as a reader I still can sense the meaning and felt with a little work, it could even better.

Keep writing on...

Review of Masturbate?
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: 18+ | (4.5)
An interesting poll regarding erotica and masterbation.

I clicked in and found the writer/creator had some very good possible answers for readers to choose from.

I was glad to see people enjoy erotica in more ways than reading.

Nice job on this open and adult oriented poll.

A beautiful poem reflecting a time when happiness, family and friends come together.

The writer plants a vivid setting of the beach and surroundings. The reader is caught up in this poem very quickly and throughout the entire poem.

The flow was very well done and the entire poem reflected joy, love, love and coming together as a family.

Nice job on this.

Review of Dark Moon
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: 18+ | (4.5)
The writer gives the reader a true gothis tone in this poem of death and the aftermath.

The images the reader gets are dark, morbid feeling while the moon is placed well within the poem's effectiveness.

I thought the poem flowed well for a free form poem.

I enjoyed reading and visualizing the entire piece.

A beautiful poem of mother and son.

The way the writer created this poem speaks from the heart and soul. The images speak volumes to any reader who R&R's this poem.

A honest, heart felt writing by someone who adores the child with all her heart.

Review of Moon Woman
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: 18+ | N/A (Review only item.)
A beautiful poem filled with mystical, spiritual and the beauty of a woman.

The passage that caught my attention and senses was; It waits for the next lunar cycle
that will bring back the Moon Woman,
transforming her light into flesh
that flames up quickly and then burns out.

though others were powerful, this just captured the entire poem. The lunar cycle brings the Moon Woman back from the spirit.

I also found the wording was also done well. Nice job period....

Review of Et Tu Brute
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: 18+ | (4.5)
An interesting dialouge between two former friends.

A strong message regarding luck and betrayal. Friends are sometimes not what you thought or expected. People change and moeny does that to almost anyone if you are not true to yourself or careful with it.

The writer brings out friendship, hardship, the luck of the draw and why people forget others when their enviroment has changed for the better.

The writer brings out truth which is sometimes hard to take, but this script/play has some very god potential if the writer continues with it.

Nice job.

Review of Just a story
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: 13+ | (4.5)
A very descriptive writing from a writer trying to better hherself in the english language.

I thought the over all story was nciely done. There are errors, but by the end of the atory the writer has come forth informing all readers with a honest and sincere jesture.

English is a difficult language, what works here, doesn't worh there, this word can be said this or that way. A complex sintax.

Overall, I enjoyed this little story about the writer and her two friends. Keep writing Star. It won't be to long before you are writing more and more.

A 4.5 for honesty and attempt.

The writer shows the vast enviroment he enjoys in life.

The flow of the poem was very good and I especialy liked,
"I find the climes that inspire me best
The cold, the rain
The vast fields of ice
Locked inside a glacial realm
My soul captive of its device"

I thought this stood out best from the entire poem. Choice of wording was excellent and well thought out.

I enjoyed this poem.

Review of Lovers
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: 13+ | (4.5)
An erotic poem filled with emotion, depth and raw passion.

The writer allows the reader to sense and see the passion and twist of fate between two lovers.

The ending was definately a twist of sorts where I felt awkward by the fast begining and fateful ending.

Loving too deeply sometimes makes two part is what I got from this poem.

Overall, nicely done and I did enjoy reading this.

An honest and truthful poem about aging and the mental aspects that go along with it.

The writer allows the reader to sense the frustrations and the wondering what will happen in the future as we all age.

I liked how the poem flowed and all the truth within. I felt the writer was searching the soul, and finding there is still much to do.

I felt the writer wrote the heart and soul in this poem. I enjoyed reading this very much.

Review of THE MAN IN RAGS
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: E | (4.0)
An interesting little story about ghosts and a girl's experience with them.

I found the writer was able to show and tell with the interaction with the ghost while shopping with her mother.

I liked how the writer also described her settings and the small details throughout the story.

I enjoyed this very much and think the writer is on her way. Keep up the good work.

The writer came up with a good poll here. To us who love scary movies and like to be scared this was an easy poll to do.

The writer's title and well done selection of movies for the potential answers made it rather difficult to make a finall decision. I liked that I had to think back to which one did the most.

The number one answer was definately the one for me.

I enjoyed taking this poll and enjoyed seeing the end reults. Nice job on this...

Review of The Closet
Review by BostonFiction
Rated: 18+ | (4.0)
The writer was able to draw the reader in to this ghostly tale pretty easily. I liked how the writer described the surroundings and leading up to the end with a cliff hanger end. What happened?

I did see some grammar errors and fragmented sentences, but over all a review by the writer would fix those easily. I would have given a 4.5 for the entire plot and settinf.

I liked this story very much and want to know what happeens at the end. Nice job on this.
