This is true for any soldier that is fighting for us. The deserve so much and sometimes get little or nothing from home. I applaud your poem, words, and thoughts on this matter and hope that many other readers visit this and get the same feelings that I have.
I have this Texas drawl so I have been told... I can see the difference between just going north a few states. The English language is very flexible as those who use it

I got in a bind here expressing my opinion in scroll... a "priveledge" I wont ever have the option to use again it appears...
I think it was a planned event and that our government was well aware of what was going on and when it would take place.
Am I the only one here that thinks that its all about oil. Look at the Bush's. They are oil men from a long time ago. I sacked groceries in Clear Lake Texas in '73 an astronauts wife drove her battery powered car to the safeway on el camino real (clear lake street) and I asked her about the effieciency of this mode of transportation and she told me that in the future many of our cars would be electric. She informed me that one charge of 8 hours would allow her vehicle to travel at speeds up to 70mph and distances up to 60 miles. Why dont we have overgrown golf carts for commuting us to work and play?
The Bushs and Bin Ladens go back a long long way... if you question this do the research

I like the style of writing I see before me now. It shows that if you can hold someones attention then others will also find it worthy of reading
I have tried my hand at stories and have a couple that I enjoyed writing and that is the point for me is to enjoy this hobby or pastime!!!
I guess I need to explain a few things... Within yours or anyones port is usually folders of like writings. Within these folders is the actual stories, poems, or novels. In my port my folders attempt to express what type of posted peices are in the folder. If you have any questions I have been around here a little while feel free to ask and if I dont know the answer to the question Im sure I can direct you to someone who does
I think we all put a part of our souls in our writing whether we want to or not. Its the depths that we are willing to expose that make us writers or word assemblers... I could be wrong but that is my opinion.
Welcome to WDC I hope you meet those here that have helped me through the rules of grammer and language that also give me a positive word or two to help me carry on.

My first thought was the album done by Big and Rich a few years back and I loved that album and every song on it... If your not familiar with it (it is country and western.. I dont usually care for it myself but this is differnt) check it out
I was in a hospital and lying there I got to thinking about the saying "What doesnt kill you makes you stronger" and This hit me like a ton of bricks... If you get a stroke... How can this make you stronger? Nos one to date has been able to answer this for me...
I think this should be a national movement I think that we should do it in our daily lives not only online but also in real life... I strive to help others when they need it without expecting anything but maybe a little help one day when I need it.
I can even forgo getting the help in the future that I have given to someone or group in the past... But you know what? It seems it always comes back to me somehow someway...
I really applaud you and your efforts here and commend you for changing the world here if even a little bit at a time it still works

I have searched for many things in this life. I have lost for the most part to the women that I have decided to be with.

It is almost as if we are witnessing these sordid events and experiencing them first hand. You have done well in this depiction of this topic and it shows great painstaking at sticking with the story and giving it the depth that you are able to send out.

I might be biased on my opinion of your story but I think it serves to tell us well of how some things come to be. I am Cherokee and know of many of the old stories. I personally save them for my family for the most part.

So far every post of your I have read is very full of vivid imagery and has held my attention and also made me think. That is the true point of true poetry I believe. I dont really care for the Hallmark version of what poetry should be but the nuts and bolts of the real words is what I look for. Not fluffy ideals that get carried away by the tide each and every day.
I have alot of respect for someone that steps outside and looks in at the true picture of what is going on not the imagined. I have enjoyed being in your port and I will be back from time to time as my time allows me
I am an avid believer in the way that those wearing the black boots these days no longer see the right or wrongs... They only see what it is they want to see... As if wearing blinders to the truth that is there... If only we take the time to read research and develop our opinions rather than have ideal spoonfed to us from those that think they are the paradigm of the day. I can feel the apathy in which this is written. I can feel the helplessness to which if is refering even though it isnt striking us in the face, yet it is in the heart and soul where this post effects me.
I like the style you incorporate in your verbal assault upon the misconceptions that we are taught to abide in.
You certainly have a way with words and I must apolgize for the timelyness of me return review (Not many these days it seems take the time out to return reviews but I am an avid believer in this). I am glad I visited your portfolio!!!
