Love and whiplash, somehow they do appear to have a lot in common as I think about the painful composition of this poem. Each word here seems filled with longing for the light only love can bring. A hard and edgy ode to our hearts desire. Where are they... the ones who are supposed to care? Is it all just a selfish journey?

A poem within a mystery dancing the ancient waltz of life. Who is that man on the hill? I would like to know. Verse, rhyme, and composition its all good, I would not change a thing. The spirit of mysticism clings to the air within the poem and got my attention immediately. I was fascinated by the liminal quality of your words. Well done.

Having never seen the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's this piece caught my attention. Nor have I reviewed a movie synopsis/review before but your enthusiasm caught be up in the first few lines. An excellent piece of science fiction, the whole thing just worked for me. The story got my interest almost immediately and held it right to the end. The ending is kind of twisted, I am not sure if I am angry at the protagonist for having the desire to abandon his family or sad that he didn't get his chance to travel the multi-verse.

The first line caught my attention. Walking "long this dirty path" seems to me to have a bigger meaning than it's few words imply, some commentary on the rudeness of life's experiences. I am left wondering what, "twenty years of hell," feels like and why the rain should make a difference. Perhaps the "rain" is a metaphor for something else-- but what?

I liked it, well done.

Very spooky indeed, I was drawn in by your description of this recurring dream. I have had recurring night terrors complete with awakening in a cold sweat and they leave a mark. I found the geographical connection very alarming and the picture of the witch a nicely frightening ending. Well written.

A chilling bit of poetry. It is frightening to wander in the head of someone whose mind is gone. I kept wondering who belonged to the voice being looked for; someone alive or someone dead. The last stanza is my favorite, it pulls all the other elements of the poem together and leaves the reader with that icy cold feeling.

Everyone deserve to have a relationship such as the one described. An ode to the best of friends and how they outlast the long march of years, all wrapped up in a tightly written bit of poetry. A nice rhyming scheme leads to a pleasant reading experience.

I liked it! I like tiny poems in general but most are soulful storm tossed things. Tis one caught me by surprise, it is very unexpectedly funny. I have given very little thought to "jello powder" in general but here it is quite amusing, I do not know why; perhaps it is because I am unsure of the results of sleeping with it.

This work seems to belong at the beginning of a larger work, a short story or even a novel. It would be a great start for such an endeavor, already this piece leaves me wanting more.

I would put this line first:

"He knew that today his young bride Jolecia is due to be deflowered by the wretched King Marnekin."

It would immediately catapult the reader into the action.

A strong heartfelt poem concerning our timeless struggle with the place where compromise fits into a good life. Is it enough to get by in life; were we meant to run or walk?

You had my interest from first to last. I thought the last two lines were a perfect ending. Are we not made of wax? A good question.

I liked your surprise ending, it pulled the whole piece together. I can envision a traveler somehow attracted to all the activity of an airport yet so bored they know how long they have been waiting to the second. It seems to me a commentary on the crowded world of the 21st century where boredom and curiosity merge.

I can feel the pain, a terrible awful pain that cannot be escaped. This a hard piece to read but I believe it is important to care for our fellows and try to understand their plight. I cannot imagine what can be done to help overcome such a burden. But you are right, we are never alone, I find some hope in this for all of our woes.

Very well done, you had me from the first line. I am left with a feeling of profound loss and helplessness.

It is a complicated piece of poetry and I found myself rereading it a few time to understand what I was hearing. But I like works that require some extra thought to dig down to the roots.

Well done! This is an excellent piece of writing. I was very impressed with your professional wordcraft and riveting plot development. You had my interest from the first paragraph, I was compelled to keep reading to see where this terrorist plot was going. I do not think there is enough here for an audition interview. The emotional range of the character is desperately needed. The motivation of the character would also be very helpful. Whether you are auditioning a fictional person or a live one more information is always better than less. After-all, we all have our part to play.

Ah, a wonderful poem with such a sense of sincerity I wonder if the author has had a taste of such helplessness as this. The simple verse and rhyme seem to suit this work just fine and the whole is an easy and pleasant read. It reminds me of despair and hopelessness I have seen up close, I am haunted still. It is a shame that there are not enough Sarah's to go around.
