There is a lot of description. The emotion is conveyed in an effective manner. I would encourage you to post some short stories or poems here. I'm sure there would be many people who would read them.

Consider the Bible: Isaiah 5:8. I find your poem to be an honest expression of what so many of us are asking. But just as it is hard to hit a target in the dark, so it for us to find truth while in the dark.
