A good solid read. Although I've not read any of the previous chapters the story flowed and the older brother, Seto, was as dis-likable as any obvious villain. The description of characters, although limited, has portrayed them well enough to give you a visual image of them. I feel for Joan as the lead character, she has been well thought out, but there is a loneliness about her. I look forward to reading more work. A job well done.

Review of Rosie and Ray

I really enjoyed that. It was quirky, in that you fitted in so many TV shows, that even this old Aussie recognized. It flowed easily and read well, it made perfect sense, in fact I could see both Ray and Rosie in a kitchen having this conversation.

An interesting piece, well written, about the regret of finding someone. Well done.

Review of Come n' Get It

You have an interesting concept for a great story here. How did you meet Emily? Was she just in your class, or did you meet outside of school? The boy on the basketball team, is he cute, tall, small, colored or white. How serious is this Daiquiri Virus? Keep going and develop the story line and the characters.

A powerful piece. As all poetry, it asks questions of us. This is no different. If I have any criticisms, it is that it's too short.
