I just can't express how sorry I am... this is just a try. |
| A FOND REVIEW Thy thought arose ‘hate’, Hate purer than all; It was prescribed by fate, And one day, it sent a call. I sat with companions, Not thinking of thine; Duo expressed opinions, Missing its effect on a heart- i.e. mine. Although the talk seemed useless, To me it brought shame, No, they were not heartless, For I never spoke, of it, all in vain. I wept like a baby, I searched for the truth, No kin was really ready, To trust, the protesting youth. Baseless was my hatred, I did bitterly realise; Emotions arose a hundred, But the least expected, love did materialize. Today, I sorely grieve, That I could not know, The bond we would weave, And the responsibility, to thee I owe. Hoping, our lives will cross, Again, in time to come; Deciding to amend the loss, Yet feeling the need, to forever keep mum. (To someone I know in thoughts yet not in self.) |
