My husband and I manage a Mom & Pop motel in a small East Texas tourist town. In addition to standard motel rooms, we also have efficiency apartments which are rented on a weekly or monthly basis. We live on-site in the manager's apartment with our 6 charismatic cats. I've been writing true life personal experience poetry and stories for as long as I can remember. My daily surroundings provide me with more than enough material to write everything from humorous tales to emotionally charged essays.
