Week four - Research - THTW


I looked up some writing terms to refresh my memory memory......

         Premise - the basic idea of the plot; plot summary
         Types of Outlines - three act structure; skeletal; traditional
         Theme - an idea that recurs in a work of art or literature.
         Plot - the series of events that unfolds from start to finish.
         Synopsis - a summary or general survey; an outline of the plot

I looked up and replaced some names by using name generators on The Story Shack
         www.thestoryshack.com

I looked up the history of cell phones. Came out in 1973 - 1993. Became popular in 2000..... decided to set my story in 2008.
I looked up Greyhound routes to see if my character would be taking a direct route or would have to change buses.

I've been wondering if I should continue with my make-believe county or change the story to be set in the county where I live.
