Rhyming Couplets

Rhyming couplets come and go,
subject swinging, to and fro.

Speaking of the storied past,
future dreaming and forecast.

Always two the counted lines,
packing all within confines.

Add a meter to the rhymes,
that can help, at least sometimes.
