Shaggy Dog story
I tried a shaggy dog story for the flash fiction contest yesterday, but then a 300 word limit didn't give me enough time to get very shaggy. Bill said he didn't think people would recognize it as such, but I gave huge hints. Oh well. I guess I have a strange sense of humor.
Most likely I wouldn't win that contest even if I were the only entry. It's beginning to look like that anyway. In a field of two, I've always been second. Usually my stories are better than this one, but I'll list it for you anyway, even though you already know the punchline.
