Deuteronomy 26:11
Rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee.

Let us give praise and glory to God in heaven. Let us thank Him for all the many blessings that He has bestowed upon us. God has blessed us greatly to be able to get up this morning to see another day. Today, I am so thankful for all the love and mercy that God bestows upon us. I will be writing an entry on our early Christmas present that God has given our family in the upcoming days. God knows our every need, and He will provide for us everyday.

Great Blessings
Dear Lord, you have done so much for me
I haven't done much for you as I can see

You have blessed me so greatly, and asked so little in return
No matter what I have needed, large or small, you have always made it your concern

When it seemed that things were going so wrong
Lord, you stood beside me and made me strong

When I needed food, shelter, or love
It was always provided from my Heavenly Father above

Dear Lord, what can I do for you , let Thy will be done
Let me be an obedient servant, and follow the example set by your only Son

Let me do Thy will, not mine
Let me follow the path you need me to find

I know the road may be long, and rough at times to travel
I know you will pick me up Lord, if I stumble in the gravel

Lead me the way I need to go, show me what to do
Let my light shine for you, so someone else can see it too

Thank you for every blessing, there are so many, I could never count them all
Dear Lord, you know my every need, you always catch me before I fall
To you Lord I owe it all

1 Timothy 6:6
But Godliness with contentment is great gain.

When I think of how many blessings that God has bestowed upon our family, I am truly amazed. He meets our every need, we never lack for anything concerning our basic needs. God has given us far more blessings that we could never thank Him enough. We are content with the things that God has given our family, and we feel so blessed. God has given us a beautiful family, he provides us with a home, and lots of love. He provides us with plenty to eat, and gives us clothes to wear. I feel how could I long for anything else? God has given us all these blessings, and extends His love to us everyday. I feel so blessed when I think of how God sent His only Son to die for our sins. If we have Jesus in our lives, everything else just falls into place.

I Am Blessed

God extends His love to us everyday
He loves us all along life's way

God provides us a home to live in
Everyday He forgives our every sin

God provides us with food to eat
He provides shoes for our feet

God has given so many blessings to us
In Him I will always place my trust

We will be content with all the blessings, that we have been given
We will always be content with what we receive, from God as long as I'm living

I don't want to be greedy, and ask for things I don't need
I don't want my life, to be filled with greed

I want to praise God, for all the things He's done for me
I want to thank Him, for sending Jesus to set my soul free

1 Peter 1:3-4 (King James Version)

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

This morning we got up, and our heat had gone out over night. It would not be so bad, if it was not so snowy and cold. The wind chill is zero, and the temperature outside is 19. But Praise Be To God, we have a Kerosene heater to provide heat until the repairman can get here. We are too blessed by God in Heaven to be stressed. He provides our every need, and gives us so much more than we deserve. So many times in life we take for granted what God has done for us. We fail to Thank Him properly for all that we have been given. God has blessed our family so much, we could never Thank Him completely for all that we have been given. God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins on Calvary. Praise be to God that Jesus Arose On The Third Day. I want to take this time to Thank God for all the many blessings He has bestowed upon our family. I want to give Him all the praise and glory for all that we have been given. The thing that I am most grateful and Thankful for is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That He saved our soul and gave us salvation. He saved our soul from hell.

Thank You Father, for heat to keep us warm
You protect us through out every single storm

Thank You Father, for the food that You provide
Thank You Father, for always being our Guide

Thank You Father, for the home in which we live
Thank You for all the many blessings that You give

Father, You have blessed us beyond all measures
With promise of eternal life, and all of heaven's treasures

Father, forgive us when we fail to properly Thank You
We fall to sing Your wonderful praise for all You do

Show us the way we need to go
The direction to travel let us know

Psalm 104:1
Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

Our praise is the perfect complement to God's majesty and greatness. Unless we take the time, and make the effort to ponder God's majesty, we will live untouched by His greatness. We would be taking all His wondereous miracles and wonders for granted. Never fully appreciating all that He has done for all sinners. We would be unmoved by the love that God has for us. The love that He gave when He sent His only Son Jesus. This is the perfect example of His greatness, and of His love for all sinners.

God's Glory

Dear God of glory and grace
In this world help me find my place

Show me what I need to do
No matter what my job, help me see it through

Let me not take for granted the day that I have been given
Let me declare Your greatness, as long as I am living

Let me shout Your greatness from the mountain top
Let me tell of Your greatness let me never stop

2 Timothy 4:17
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

In the mists of storms in our lives, sometimes we begin to wonder where God is. When things begin to fall apart and we can't see the sunshine for the rain. We wonder if God is anywhere to be found. Never fear He is always right beside of us. He is the One that carries us, when we feel like we can no longer go on. God is with us no matter what we go through good times and bad. Just like Paul wrote to Timothy, that God was always with him. Paul gave God all the credit for making it possible to accomplish his life's work of spreading the Gospel. I'm sure many times he felt like he was alone, but knew that God was with him during every trial he faced.

During The Storm

The storm begins to rage
It is only in it's first stage

Soon it is full of power, I am filled with fear
I feel so alone, like no one else is here

The thunder rolls, and the lightning strikes
Now I tremble this commotion I don't like

I feel the need to find a place to hide
I need Someone my path to guide

I begin to cry, I have never felt so alone
Then a voice whispers, the storm will soon be gone

It is Jesus, He takes me in His arms
My child He says, this storm will cause you no harm

Jesus reaches His hand toward the sky
The storm is gone, from relief I let out a sigh

I had let the storm shake my faith what a waste
When I should have called on Jesus without haste

He is our life preserver throughout all of life's storms
He is with us before the dark clouds even form

Many times we forget that Jesus is with us always
His guidance and instruction never strays

Luke 6:48
He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon the house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock:

Sometimes we forget to place our house on a solid foundation. We try to place it close to the water to see the beauty of the ocean. Then when a storm arises, the house is wiped away. Our foundation needs to be rooted deep in Jesus Christ. He is the firm foundation that can weather any storm. No matter how high the flood waters rise, Jesus is the One foundation that will never be destroyed. No matter what storms we go through in our life, if we build our foundation on Jesus, we will never be wiped out. The crashing waves He can endure. we must believe and accept Jesus into our heart, and trust Him everyday of our life. That He will watch over us and guide our path through every storm.

Is Your Foundation Built On Jesus?

Where have you built you house, is the foundation strong?
Have you built it on Jesus Christ, where it truly belongs?

Will your foundation handle any storm?
He will calm it, before the cloud can form

Let Jesus be the Rock on which you build
The power of any storm He can be your shield

Jesus will protect us, when the storms began to roll
Build your foundation on Him, He will save your soul

Don't build your house on a foundation of sand
Accept Jesus and on the Rock you can stand

Build on the Rock, that will never be broken
Words of love and comfort from Him will be spoken

John 14:27
Peace I leave you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

As Christmas time approaches my prayer for all that suffer from depression, is they will read this scripture. That they will let Jesus wrap them in His arms. Jesus can take away your depression. He cares deeply for you. You are never alone Jesus said, I am with you always. Many suicide attempts are done during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Many have lost loved ones, and are all alone. Some live far away from their families and experience severe depression during the Christmas season. Many people have no one to come and visit them, and are completely alone. Some have went through divorce or separation, they feel like their world has ended. They feel there is no hope for their situation, depression pushes many over the edge. Many people end up taking their own life. Please remember you are never alone, and Jesus loves you. Turn to Him in prayer He will be there for you. Call a friend and just go out and talk. If you cannot do that please find someone to share your problem with so that they can help you get through the holidays. Spend your Christmas by making a difference, volunteer at the homeless shelter, or at a local church that does meals for the homeless.

Don't Give Up Hold Onto Jesus

The holidays cause depression, for those who are alone
It makes many feel that all hope is gone

They have lost loved ones, and have no where to turn
For love and friendship, their hearts truly yearn

Many have a spouse who has left
They feel they have nothing left I guess

Some have lost their mom or dad
The holidays leave them feeling sad

For one reason or another, the depression takes hold
They have ended their life we are told

They have given up, they have no hope
With everyday problems, they can no longer cope

In their life they feel darkness, that will never end
They feel they have no one, on whom they can depend

I pray that if anyone feels this way
They will talk to someone today

There are people who really care
For you they will be there

Please don't go and end it all
Think of your family getting that call

Someone that they love so very much
Gone never to be back in touch

Their hearts would be truly broken
No words of comfort could be spoken

For ever left to ask the question why?
Why did they want to die?

Was it something we said or did?
What about their little kids?

Forever left to wonder what they did wrong
Wondering why their loved one couldn't carry on

The devastation their family truly feels
Knowing their loved one's death was real

If someone is out there feeling depressed
For your well being, our concern is expressed

Go to God in prayer
For you He always cares

Please don't throw it all away
Call upon Jesus today

He will carry you, when life's storms begin to rage
Your battle with depression, in this fight He will engage

To beat this monster, Jesus has the power
Just turn to Him, in your darkest hour

Jesus can deliver you, through the storm of your depression
He will fill your life with light, and wonderful blessings

So please give it a shot, start today anew
Jesus will definitely take care of you

Luke 6:36
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

I know many times in my life, I have made so many mistakes. That I have hurt others by things I have said or done. Many times I have went and apologized, and they have forgiven me. Others were not willing or able to accept my apology, and didn't want to discuss it anymore. Some have never spoken to me anymore. I know I have wronged them, but I was truly trying to correct what I had done to hurt them. I was sincere in my effort, this made me realize that I needed to be more merciful. When someone has harmed us in some way, we need to be forgiving. We need to forgive the hurt and pain and the person who caused it. We must be merciful so that God can be merciful to us. God is full of mercy, He forgives our sins day and night. We need to follow His example and put it into action in our own lives. To forgive and show mercy to everyone, regardless of the circumstances.

Have a Forgiving Spirit

God is full of mercy and grace
We need to show mercy to all the human race

God forgives us no matter what our sin
He forgives us no matter how bad we have been

We need to follow God's loving example
To always extend mercy every day, not just a little sample

To fully extend mercy to others
To always forgive our sisters and brothers

We have to be merciful so that God can be merciful to us
To always forgive others, and let it go, in God place our trust

God is full of mercy and grace
We need to show mercy to all the human race

God forgives us no matter what our sin
He forgives us no matter how bad we have been

We need to follow God's loving example
To always extend mercy every day, not just a little sample

To fully extend mercy to others
To always forgive our sisters and brothers

We have to be merciful so that God can be merciful to us
To always forgive others, and let it go, in God place our trust

Mark 16:15
And He said to them, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

The word gospel begins with the word go. A faith worth believing is a faith worth sharing.
To me spreading the news of Jesus and His love to everyone we see, is the greatest gift we can give. So now that Christmas is upon us make the season about telling others of Jesus and give the greatest gift of all telling some lost soul of why Jesus came.
Here is a poem titled the Gift of Love

What does Christmas truly mean to you?
Is it th gifts you receive? Or the good deeds you can do?

Does Christmas mean finding the perfect present for family and friends?
Going from store to store, where the shopping never ends?

The true meaning of Christmas, is celebrating the greatest gift given to us all
That God sent Jesus, He was the only answer to every sinner's call

Let us make Christmas a time of giving
To tell the lost that Jesus is still living

That He gave His life because of His love for us
Spread the news of Jesus and His love, so in Him others will place their trust

When I think of Christmas Jesus is all I think of
Jesus came and gave the greatest gift of love

So instead of wanting to receive, let us think about what we can give
By telling others of Jesus, and His love as long as we live

We need to share the glorious story of Jesus' sacrafice
When sinner's accept Him, they will be thankful for your advice

So spread the news of God's gift of love
So many will accept Jesus and secure their home above

John 12:23
And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of Man should be glorifed.

Jesus knew that the hour was coming, that His reason for being on this earth would be fulfilled. That He would be placed on the cross, and crucified for our sins. He knew that He would be beaten, spit upon, and tormented for all sinners. It makes me wonder what thoughts went through His mind, dread, sadness, mixed emotions of knowing what was to come. I would have to say that at some point He felt joy, because He would be doing His Father's will. The hour has come for us as Christians, to pray for God to use us to glorify His holy name. That we wait on God to move in our lives, and wait for His guidance in all that we do. To let God use us, as He would see fit. To witness to the lost, to tell the world that Jesus Christ died for our sins. That He arose on the Third Day. To tell everyone that Jesus came and died for all sinners.Jesus suffered in agony on the cross for all sinners, let us get busy and tell the world of His amazing love.

The Hour Has Come

The hour has come
Let God's will be done

Let us tell the world that Jesus saves
Pray that they will accept Him and not delay

The hour has come, for us to let God lead
And pray that the bible that they will read

God's mission for us, let us strive to achieve
To tell others of Jesus, so they may believe

Let us hit the road, and tell everyone on the street
So they may accept Jesus, and tell others they meet

The hour has come, for us to do God's will
To sing His praise, through the valleys and hills
