| Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." This passage is so reassuring, that once we accept Jesus there is nothing that can separate us from Him. That God loves us no matter what we have done wrong. He loved us even before we were born. He loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins. God sacrificed His only Son Jesus Christ, so that you and I could have eternal life. If we will only accept and believe in Jesus Christ, and confess our sins. We can live with Jesus forever. God sacrificed His only Son because He loved us so much. Now that is amazing true love. Jesus gave His life willingly to pay the price for our sins. Now that is true love, and true sacrifice. Let us show the love of God to others, by living a life that would be pleasing to God. Let us reach out to others that are hurting, and let us try and make a difference. Let us tell the lost about Jesus Christ, about the sacrifice that He made for all sinners. Let us lend an ear to those who may need someone to listen to them. Let us help our neighbors in need. Let us follow the direction in which God may lead. Let us be willing to go the extra mile, for our Father in heaven. Let us open our heart and ears, to listen to what God needs us to do. Father, let us sacrifice time to do Your will Let us not make excuses or try to cut a deal Let us do the work that God would require To tell others of His love, let us have the desire Father, for all sinners You made the ultimate sacrifice On this decision not once did You have to think twice Father, Thank You, for sending Jesus to die for our sins With Your amazing love and sacrifice, all believers win Father, we praise You for the love that You have given us In You Father, we will always place our total and complete trust Father, lead us to where we need to go Let us tell others of Jesus so they will know To Your work let us always commit To Your plan for us let us submit |
| Psalm 73:24 Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Sometimes life is like a roller coaster, there are so many twists and turns. Problems in life have their ups and downs, then we are thrown a curve. We feel like we are standing in mid air, and have no control over our situation in our life. Thank God, for He is our Guide, showing us which direction to take. God guides us through every mile that we travel, and helps comfort us when we hit a bump in the road. God minister's to us, and will let us know what we need to do. God is our Guide and He can put the breaks on, and stop all the chaos when life takes us on a wild ride. God can calm storm that rages out of control, He will guide our path, and see us safely through all of life's problems. Even in death, He will lead us home. Father, Guide Our Path Dear Father, guide our every path Protect us from Satan and his wrath Lord, by our side always remain Your love and guidance is our gain Lord, when our life feels so empty and incomplete We need Your guidance, when Satan has us on the hot seat We need Your guidance to make us strong To show us the path, on which we belong We need Your guidance and love, so that we can spiritually bloom So that Satan can't drag us down, with his doom and gloom |
| 21And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? 22For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. 23If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 24And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. 26And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. Let us not hide our light, that should shine bright for Jesus. Let your light shine so bright. If God has given us a talent to use to glorify His name, let us try our best to use it. To try and draw others to God. Let us try to show the love of Jesus to all, and pray that the lost will see what God has done for us, and that they will want to draw closer to Him. That the lost will accept Jesus before it is to late. The Hour Has Come The hour has come Dear Lord let Thy will be done The hour has come, for us to do Thy will I'll do what you need, Jesus because you paid my bill The hour has come, to tell others about Jesus in who we trust To spread the story of how much He loves us The hour has come, to tell the lost how they can be saved That Jesus made it possibe, when He arose from the grave The hour has come to spread the news of Jesus on the cross That He died on Calvary, to save the loss The hour has come, to tell our friends and neighbors to rejoice If they have made Jesus their choice The choice has come to get down on our knees and pray Until some lost soul is saved, on our knees we need to stay The hour has come, we need to call on God more than ever before To pray He will knock on some lost soul's door The hour has come, to sing God's praise And pray that many will be saved |
| Matthew 22:37-39b JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND. THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF. Jesus told us that this was the greatest commandments. To love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our minds. If we follow this commandment and put God first in our life, then the love that God gives will shower down on us, and we will love our neighbors as God loves us. If we love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and with all our strength, the rest of His commandments will be easier to follow and keep. If we learn to show compassion, and to give love unconditionally to others, we can follow God's example of love. God showed His love and mercy for us sinners, by sending His only Son to die for all sinners. God's love was truly shown, by Jesus dying on the cross. So that we could be saved from hell. Loving God Unconditionally Love God with all your heart From Him let us never depart Love God with all our soul Putting Him first should be our goal Love God with all your mind To others always be so kind Love our Lord with all our strength To love others then will be a cinch Love God and place Him first Even when worst comes to worst God in heaven is truly love This great gift we received from above Let us show love in all that we do The kind that God gives to me and you |
| Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. In a vision God talked with Isaiah, Asking who will go for us? Isaiah answered by saying Here I am, send me. God calls all of His children for some type of work. He has a job for all of us to do. Will we submit to His calling? Will our answer be Lord, send me? Or will we say Lord I am just so busy, can't you get someone else to take care of it? If we feel that God needs us to go for a certain job, then let us be willing to drop everything and pack up and say Lord here I am. He may have a small task that He needs us to, may be talking to someone in need. Telling a lost soul of Jesus Christ. Just to spread cheer in someones life that is lonely. God may need us to be a good neighbor and help someone in need. You just never know what a blessing it will be to our soul to help others. Let us be ready and willing, to follow where God needs us to go. Let us say Lord, I am here send me. God has blessed each of us with a talent or a gift, let us use it for His glory. Let God strengthen that talent and use it when He sees fit. Let our answer be Yes Lord, I will go, I am ready. Lord, if You have a task for me to do I want to follow Your plan all the way through Thank You for letting me serve You The plans You have for me I want to do No matter if it is a little task Lord I am here, just ask Lord, lead me to Thy work At my mission I will never smirk Any job big or small I will do it and stand tall Lord, let me respond to Your call Because Father, You are over all You know my travel plans My travel destination is in Your hands Let my answer be Lord I am ready and willing Because my soul You gave complete healing |
| James 5:11 11.Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. In the last few weeks I have been taking a stroll down memory lane. Trying to review what has taken place, in some manner trying to make sense of it all. I know that God is preparing our life for a journey that He has planned. Sometimes it feels like it is taking a really long time to get to the journey that God has planned. Then I came across this verse in James and realize, God is preparing us daily. He has many things that we must learn. We must be patient, and let God lead to where we need to be. There will be many storms and tribulations that we will endure, but Jesus Christ will be right by our side. God in Heaven will guide and direct us daily. He will give us instructions on what to do, and will reveal in His time alone. I know that we must endure and not focus on sad events so much. We have to let God move us ahead in the journey that He needs us to take. We must let go of the past, and focus on today. Father, I know You will help us endure problems in this life You sent Your only Son to show us the way, bless be Jesus Christ No matter what things have come to past You are the ONE who knows how long this journey will last Father, many times we get so tired and sad When so many things go wrong and turn bad You are always there to guide our path and show us the way You show us the beautiful sunrise at the dawn of each new day We must cling to You no matter what may arise From You Father, our pain and grief we can not disguise Father, as you prepare the journey we are to take You pave the foundation for each step that we will make Thank You Father, for showing us comfort and Your love As You send us on our journey until we see You in Heaven above |
| Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Many times we hear the expression I would trust them with my life. There may be someone in your own life that you would trust that well. I have someone that I trust that well, God in heaven. He plans our everyday, He is in charge of my whole day. I will trust Him more than anything or anyone with my life. My Father in heaven knew me before I was ever born. He loved us enough to send His only Son to die for our sins. There is no one else but God that I would trust with my life. Because I have given Him complete control over everything. He provides my every need, He knows the number or hairs on our head. So in the LORD I will place all my trust. Trust In The Lord Father, we put our life in Your hands You count our needs, just like the grains of sand Guide us this very day Make our skies blue and not grey Lord, in You we place our trust If I didn't my world Satan would bust To God I am more closer drawn Without Him I couldn't make it on my own God provides food for our table To meet our needs, He is able In God my trust I will keep My faith in our Father runs deep In God we place our trust where it belongs My faith in God is very strong We will place our trust in Him until our last breath He will take care of us, even after death |
| Romans 11:34 FOR WHO HATH KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD? OR WHO HATH BEEN HIS COUNSELLOR? If we take the time to look around, we can see God's great power everywhere. From miracles of healing someone's body, to the beautiful blue skies, with clouds that look like balls of cotton. One of God's powers that amazes me the most is the ocean, how it comes so far to land and stops at His command. God's power is great, I stand in awe when a storm with lightning strikes and lights up the sky. When I hear the thunder roar, I think of God's voice how in the bible that it sounds like thunder. From earthquakes to floods, God is in control of them all. Just like the changing of the seasons, God is very powerful and to be praised for all His wonderful works and majesty. God is full of power, He is also full of compassion and love for us sinners. God's mercy and grace was given to us, when He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. God truly loves us, and He made it known. He made a way for all to receive salvation through His only Son. God's Power God is more powerful than anything I know In His love He helps us grow God can take all our problems, that seem so big to me He wipes them all away, and sets our soul free He tells the seasons when to change His power amazes us, others find it strange God controls the waves of the ocean He controls how far it extends, and it's motion God reigns supreme, He is full of grace In times of trouble, He puts us in His embrace When lightning and thunder begin to roll God comforts us, when life takes it's toll Our Father in heaven is full of power On His children, His blessings He showers |
| Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Ever had a decision that you had to make? That you tossed and turned in bed worrying about making the wrong decision. We worry about deadlines and pressure ourselves until we become weary. We exhaust our body and mind with all the options placed before us. We worry about making the wrong choice so much. Because we know the outcome can be bad. Let us not depend on our own ability, we need to let Jesus guide us in our decision making. To include Him in every decision that we make. To seek His advice and guidance in all that we do. Jesus is our compass He knows the direction we should take. If we have a decision that needs to be made we need to let Jesus be our Guide. Instead of depending on our own way of thinking, we need to let God guide the way, He will never steer us wrong. I Choose To Let God Lead Father, I choose to let You guide my path To always protect me from Satan's wrath To let You decide the direction I am to take That decision Father, is for You to always make Lord, guide me the way that You would have me go The place that I end up, only my Father in Heaven knows Father, take me by the hand and be my Guide In Your loving arms let me forever abide Let me not depend own my own understanding I will let You make the decision when life is demanding Let me follow the way that You would have me to take Every decision on my life Father, is Yours to make I trust You to lead my life, because You know my destination Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ provided my salvation Father, in You I place my trust each and everyday Where I am to go only You know the way |
| 1 Corinthians 3:11 Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Many times we try to build a life that we think will be perfect for us. We build our life on hopes and dreams. Then later down the line everything is destroyed and taken away. After a time we realize that we were using the wrong foundation to build our dreams on. None of our foundations were truly strong. Then when we built our life on the true foundation, which is Jesus Christ things no longer seemed to wash away. Our feet are on solid ground, we find that our foundation is strong. That we are no longer drifting out to sea because we built our house on the sand. With Jesus as our true foundation we can truly weather any storm. Because Jesus is the Rock, the firm foundation on which to build our faith and life. Through Jesus Christ we receive salvation and the perfect foundation. Solid As A Rock Jesus is the perfect foundation He is the solid Rock to salvation Jesus is the perfect foundation on which to build He is the foundation that makes Satan have to yield At one time my house was built upon the sand It was washing away until Jesus took my hand Now my foundation is built on Jesus Christ A firm foundation that will last for life Put your foot on the Rock that will last forever The foundation that will stand firm and stay together So let us build our foundation on Jesus our Rock Then our salvation is secure as a strong lock It can't be broken and no one can take it away With Jesus our foundation is firm and will always stay |
