| Psalm 37:3-5 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed . 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. When I read these verses, it makes me think of how much God has done for me. That He sent His only Son to die for our sins. That He showed so much mercy toward all sinners, to give Jesus as the Ultimate Sacrifice. It amazes me at God's love for us.Then I think of how unfaithful at times that I am towards God. He bestows so many blessings upon us, and many times we fail to acknowledge any of them. We fail to thank Him properly. Truth being we truly take God for granted. We need to be faithful to Him everyday, and every minute that we live. To thank Him for sending Jesus to die for our sins. To thank Him for all the many blessing that we receive everyday. We need to faithful to God, and follow the example set by Jesus Christ. We need to stay close to God, and communicate with Him daily. We need to be faithful in our actions. To make our number one goal, to tell the world about Jesus Christ. Let us challenge ourselves to be faithful daily to God. To let Him lead the way, and direction we are to go. To follow the steps that He would have us to take. Let us be willing to do the work, that God has planned for us. Let us not push Him aside, when He has a mission for us to do. Let us be faithful enough when God needs us to do something, that we drop what we are doing and start the job right away. To put things that are not important on the back burner, not God. Let us be faithful in our walk with God daily, not just every now and then. Father, we want to be faithful to You To follow You in everything I may do Father, I want to be willing to follow Your will To be quiet and listen, at times to just stand still To let You be able to talk to my heart To show me where I may need to start Father, I know we take you for granted too much Everyday by Your many blessings my life is touched Forgive me Father, and let me be faithful to You To do the work You need me to, and to see it through Father, show us the way you need us to go Let us be faithful to You, so that to others it will show |
| Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. In our everyday life we experience many difficulties. We go through times that we are tossed about by the waves of life. Problems come our way and make us drift off course. We lose site of the job that God would have us to do. We get wrapped up in everyday problems and forget to consult with God in prayer. When the burdens get to be to much that is when we call out to Jesus to deliver us through all the chaos that we are going through. If we keep the lines of communication open everyday with God in prayer we won't experience so much doubt and confusion in our everyday life. Let us remember to include God in our everyday plans because He may need to alter them for us. May we always let Jesus guide us on the path that we need to take, so that we can do God's will. When we are in doubt to Jesus let us call out and say "Jesus, Help Me Please. Jesus Help Me I am walking in this barren land So many things I don't understand People their hearts have grown cold Some not as caring in the days of old Jesus, help me to know which way to go To understand things I need to truly know Jesus, help me to avoid Satan's trap To follow the Holy Bible as a road map Help me to avoid things that will make me stumble Help make my heart pure, let me always be humble Jesus help us not to follow the ways of this world Around Your feet let us always be sitting and curled When our direction in life we begin to doubt To You Jesus let us give a loud shout |
| In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Psalm 62:7 No matter what we may face each and everyday, isn't it great to know that God stands beside us. That when things are falling apart He will be there. When we feel that we can't make it, God makes a way and provides our every need. He makes a way to clear the path to bring a blessing to us. To show us that He is not limited in His power. Many times in our mind we limit what we think God can do. At these moments that is when we need to read our bible and let God remind us that nothing is impossible with Him. God is with us no matter what problem we may face, if we let Him everything will work out fine. He will use our current situation to help us grow in our faith. We just have to trust God and make sure that our foundation is built on Him. We must depend on Jesus when everything else goes so wrong. He will be our Guide, through this life of pain and sorrow. He will show us how to handle everyday events, with love and kindness. Without God in our life, truly our lives will be nothing but a mess. All around there would be nothing but complete darkness. I praise God for the Light, His only Son Jesus Christ. Father, You are the Rock of our Strength Your arms outstretch to the greatest length No matter what problem come our way You are working in our life every day Our problems You can always fix You throw blessing into the mix You provide Your love and wipe our tears You have always been faithful all these years You are the same today, tomorrow, and everyday You will take care of Your children all along the way Father, You are the Foundation and Rock on which I depend Father in Heaven, You are truly our Best Friend |
| 1 Chronicles 16:10 Let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. In times when everything is going great, it is easy to give thanks to God and seek Him. Then when everything starts falling apart in our life, it seems like our world is coming to an end. Only when we have tried to solve the problems ourselves, and find that everything we do fails then we turn to God. By this time we are at our wits end. Let us seek God daily in good times and bad. To keep the lines of communication open at all times. Not just when things are spinning out of control in our lives. Let us rejoice and share with others all that God has done for us. All the many blessings He has bestowed upon us. To rejoice that He sent His only Son to die on the cross for our sins. Let Us Seek God Let us seek God in good times and bad Let us seek Him if we are happy or sad Let us rejoice in God's grace and love To send our prayers to heaven above Let us seek Him in our daily life Even if it is filled joy and not strife Let us always seek God's guidance in everything we do He will lead and guide us no matter what we go through Let us rejoice and sing within our heart To be glad that in our life God plays a part |
| Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. When I think of what Jesus means to me, so many things come to mind. He is our Savior, Redeemer, He is Lord, most of all He is the great I AM. He is our Redeemer, He saved all sinners that accept Him from hell. As we study the bible we come to know more about Jesus, as we grow in Him, our praises for Him increase. Because we learn of what all Jesus has done for us. We acknowledge Him not only as our Savior, but also as Lord. Let us spend time learning more about Jesus everyday. To make a list of things to guide us, and to express our praise and gratitude for all that Jesus has done in our lives. One day when Jesus returns every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Most of all let us sing praise to the One who saved our soul. Jesus Christ Is Lord Jesus, how we love Him so More about Him we want to know Our Savior, He reigns supreme Jesus' love went to the extreme Lord, He is the Great I Am He is God's perfect Lamb Jesus is our best Friend He will be there until the end Jesus is complete true love He was sent by God above Mediator, for all, He pleads our case He helps put Satan in his place Jesus is our Shepherd, He leads us to the fold We are His sheep, He will lead us to the streets of gold Jesus is our Redeemer, He saved us from hell Jesus gives us peace, and all is well |
| Psalm 104:33-34 33. I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34.My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. Once again I have to remind myself, that God always provides. Today, I started to focus on the negative, yes again. I fell into the trap of worrying about bills, and having to fix cars and all that jazz. What I truly want to focus on is Thanking God for all the blessings that He has given. That He has blessed us with a home, food to eat, shoes on our feet, and food and clothing. I want to Thank Him for being able to pay the bills. If it were not for God our Father in Heaven, we would have NOTHING. God has blessed us with everything that we have. He has given us so much, even the very breath that we breathe. He blessed us to wake up this morning. So my mission is to strive to focus on the positive, and not let the negative win. It amazes me how a few things can go wrong, and we begin to worry our selves so badly. God is awesome and has never failed us, but oh boy how many times I have failed Him.God is GREAT AND WORTHY TO BE PRAISED.Thank You Father, for all that you have given our family. I am sorry for falling into this negative stage. I truly know that you know our needs, and will provide, forgive me for focusing so much on the negative. Help me to focus on the positive and help lift others spirits. Father, forgive us when we fall into the negative stage You have met our needs no matter what our age You have blessed us beyond compare Anything we need You are always there God, You are incredible, I give You praise Let me turn the negative into positive all of my days Thank You Father, for all that You give Let me tells others of Jesus as long as I live Thank You Father for meeting our needs and so much more I am going to put this negative behind me, and not focus on it anymore Thank You Father for all that You have done Most of all I praise You for giving Your only Son Thank You for blessings of today, and the ones of yesterday For all that You give, I could never fully Thank You, there is no way Father, I am grateful that You forgive our sins Help me to focus on positive, and cleanse me within |
| Psalm 34:18-19 18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit 19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Today, I am thankful for the comfort that God delivers to us. When we experience problems that are beyond our comprehension . When our hearts are broken from losing a loved one. God knows what we go through, He truly knows the pain and grief that we feel. Jesus holds us in His arms and comforts us, to give us the encouragement to carry on, with the mission God has planned for our life. Many times we experience devastation in our lives, and it humbles us. In time it helps us to relate to others that are going through the same things that we have experienced. Sometimes events happen in our lives and we are never the same again. God uses different things that we go through to help us grow. Many times when a tragedy happens it draws us closer to God, right where He needs us to be. I know in the last few years losing so many loved ones, has drawn me much closer in my walk with our Father in Heaven. He is the ONE that has given me the strength to carry on. When at times I have felt so weak, and so stricken by grief. Many days it took everything that I had to get out of bed, and start the day. But life goes on, and by faith I know that each day will get better. God will give us a bright rainbow, after the storms of life have pounded us constantly. I am thankful that God is our greatest Comforter in this life. With Jesus by our side, we can carry on no matter what happens. Father, Thank You, for giving us comfort in the worst of times Your love and comfort Father, are so great and so divine Father, Thank You for sending Jesus to stand by our side When we feel like we are drowning from the tears we cried Thank You Father, for Your love and constant support That when they occur we can lay our burdens in Your port Father, there is no problem that we can not face You will carry us through with Your love and grace Thank You Father, for holding us when we weep Thank You Father, for wiping our tears so we can sleep Thank You Father, for rocking us in Your arms Thank You Father, for keeping us safe from all harm |
| Matthew 6:33-34 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. I have to ask myself, why do we try and fix things that are not broken? When God is in control and taking care of everything, why do we start to doubt at times.? Last week we got our electric bill, and it was a lot more expensive than normally this time of year. I begin worrying about how we will pay it, and trying to figure a way to make all the other bills after paying it. Needless to say it has weighed heavily on my mind this last week. After racking my brain and tossing and turning at night, it finally came to me. God will take care of it, He always has, so why are we doubting now. Because Satan found my weak spot and hit on it hard. Knowing that our house insurance is also due, Satan found an opening and made me doubt God. Well Satan I will tell you now, God has always provided and always will. If I just trust and believe and seek Him all things shall be taken care of. God knows what we need and He will provide for us. Father, I pray forgive me for my doubts, and for letting Satan make us doubt you. Not one time has God failed us, and I know that He never will. I know that God will continue to protect us, and I know that He will always provide for our need. Now don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean we will have everything we want, just what we need. God has given our family far more than we could ever need, or for that matter ever deserve. I guess what I am trying to say is Thank You Father, for You have blessed our family greatly Father, I know many times I begin to doubt That is when to You we need to give a shout Father, I know You meet our every need You know what they are always indeed No matter what the problem may be You have the answer always for me I know that I have doubted You before Father, I want to strive to not do it anymore You are amazing Father, You bless us with so much I am so thankful, that we can feel Your loving touch I just want to Thank You Father, for all that we have received All because on Your only Begotten Son Jesus Christ we have believed Father, forgive me when I doubt You I will trust You in all I do Completely and without reservation You give Your blessings without hesitation |
| Psalms 121:1-8 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. I am so Thankful to God for EVERYTHING THAT HE PROVIDES. He gives us a place to live, provides food to nourish our body, and puts clothes on our back and shoes on our feet. God provides the money to pay our bills, and provides transportation for our daily needs. Our Father in Heaven is amazing. He watches over us no matter where we may go. Father, Thank You for being the One who watches over us all the days of our lives. Father, lead us to where we need to go, and show us the direction in life that You would have us to go. Forgive us, when we fail to do, what would be pleasing to You. Father, Thank You for never leaving our side. Lord, Thank You for watching over us day and night. Unlike a cell phone, our signal to You is always strong. You can be reached at any hour, You don't limit our talk time. We just have to make time to talk with You daily. You are always willing to lend an ear, when we need to talk. Thank You God for the love and mercy You so freely give. Father, today I Thank You for the clothes that You provide I Thank You for always being there, my best friend at my side Thank You, for the shoes that You provide for me to wear Thank You, for letting my problems with You share Thank You Father, that Your word I can share with so many others To tell the world about Jesus, sharing the good news with my sisters and brothers Thank You Father, for watching over me and extending Your protection Thank You Father, for always guiding and showing me the right direction |
| Matthew 4:2-4 2. And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry. 3. And the tempter came and said to Him" If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. 4. But He answered and said, It is written, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD. Satan tried to tempt Jesus in every way that he could. He tempted and tormented Jesus, and lost the battle. Jesus had an answer for everything that Satan threw at Him. He used the word of His Father, the Holy Bible and defeated His enemy. Satan knows our weakness, and will try his best to use it to his advantage. He will catch us off guard, and try and tempt us at our weakest moments. Satan knows that we are vulnerable, he attacks when we are sleeping. His greatest advantage is when we get busy in everyday life, and don't take the time to read God's Holy Word. It is our weapon to defeat the enemy. Just like Jesus did, He defeated Satan with God's words of wisdom. Satan knows our weakness and will prey on that very item every chance he gets. Placing doubts and fears in our mind is one of his greatest schemes. Trying to convince us to turn away from God, that he has all the things we could ever need. Satan will try and convince us that working is better than going to church. That we don't need to take our children to Sunday School that we should just sleep late. He tries to work his web of deceit and many times we fall right into his trap. Let us read our bible daily and talk with God our Father daily. To keep in touch with Him, and let Jesus surround our heart with love. The Holy Spirit will guide us through all the things that Satan tries to throw our way. God will protect us daily. We must trust Him, and let Him build a shield around us, and that starts by applying His Holy Word to our daily lives. We can keep Satan at bay with the greatest weapon God has given us, the Bible. Let us read the bible daily and take feed on the nourishment that it provides in protecting us from Satan. Satan Knows Our Weakness Satan knows every weakness He preys on our thoughts of bleakiness Satan loves it when we have thoughts of doom and gloom That is when he pounces us with doubts and fears with a boom He knocks us off of our feet when we are sleeping He knows when our guard is down and we are weeping Satan knows when we have become weak He knows when God's assistance we didn't seek We can defeat the enemy which is pounding us hard By applying the Holy Word of God and Satan is barred God's word is our weapon against our greatest enemy ever Let us use it to our advantage and let Satan defeat us never |
