| Name a movie that frightened you. The Exorcist scared the heck out of me. I was young at the time, not even out of teens very long. I had a fascination for old theaters and in fact worked in one for seven years; three and a half as assistant manager. When I went to the Majestic theater in downtown Dallas, it was the beginning of some new fangled theater experience enhancements. One of which was surround sound. Spending time in a theater made me used to the sound of a normal theater not yet equipped with surround sound technology. When i heard Linda Blair screaming from upstairs it was as if she was right in my ear and the demonic nature of that voice sent chills down my spine. i almost got up and ran out of the theater at that time. However I endured to the end, including the now infamous pea soup spewing. If you haven't seen this on a big screen you're missing out. i no longer attend these kinds of movies but for the shock factor, and the sound enhancements this movie was a block buster, almost literally in some points as the theater literally shook with the sound that was coming from the action on the screen. | Natural disasters overall are scary things and cannot be taken for granted when they are predicted or the warnings ring out. Those who surf in the wake of an oncoming storm, thinking of themselves as thrill seekers, are in fact care-less. They are the scary part about nature disasters. Those who care less about their own well being enough to possibly lose their lives just to ride a monster wave. Hey even the smallest waves carry so much potential for danger. They are raw power and when it gets multiplied to the nth degree you need to stay away! For me personally the scariest storms are the snow storms that happen. White outs that can cause you to lose your way in a moment. Cold that pierces the inner soul. Frostbite that leaves your extremities scarred and forever changed when it happens. As a writer, I would have a hard time coping with the loss of my fingers. The hypothermia that can occur, where you are literally shut down from the outside in and you have no control over it. You are at the hands of a force to be reckoned with and needs to be taken seriously from the get go. The day after a natural disaster so often seems surreal. The landscape is altered and the people are in a daze, wondering where they go from here. The waters may be receding, the clouds may be clearing, and the winds may be dying down. Things appear to be returning to "normal". Don't be taken by surprise next time. Listen to the warning, get to shelter, hunker down and weather the storm. Tornadoes today, snow storms tomorrow, and hints of more potential disasters to come. Listen, learn, and take action to take care and live to see another day. Copenator out! NEED HELP WITH UPGRADES?

| What gets better with age? Living life from day-to-day. In theory that is. You're wiser, know your limitations, and your strengths. Viewing the glass full at all times, even if you don't feel like it's true can help. In doing this your mind and body become less stressed. Nearing a milestone in age that you may have dreaded before could be a blessing. Golly gee, in reality life is worth the living just because you live. | Would you rather be super intelligent or extremely good looking? Making the most out of what you are is not about intellect and looks. Even the most beautiful diva; with all the intelligence to boot; can be horrid. Deliberate moderation and acceptance of yourself is more the goal. In doing this you know your strengths, your weaknesses, and your shortcomings. Unbridled intelligence; that effortless intellect; can lead to a huge downfall. Modern beauty; as seen on TV; is just an interpretation of how you should look. Take the medium road beloved. I have a moderate intelligence and know I can always learn more. I have a rugged lived-in for fifty seven years of handsomeness. That's hard for me to admit too because of my introverted nature. But for me the wife is still with me after all this time, so hey I can't be all that bad. There has to be a point in your life when you say to yourself that you are who you are and that you are willing to accept it and grow from there as you are able. Even the oldest man or woman can seem to look younger when that inner beauty shines through. You're beautiful as the Lord has made you. You're as smart as you are now because of the life you have lived. When the two meet and you are happy, you will find that medium that seems to be so elusive in this world. You're beloved! | If you could be involved in making a movie, would you rather act or direct? I am not an actor. What you see is what you get. No contrived role for me will do. I'll have to try my hand at directing and see if I'm a director as well. Who knows maybe I'd be better suited as a stage hand, or set builder. I've had experience as a stage hand and was fairly decent at it, even as a curtain and prop master. Now I was a member of a couple of clown troupes and of a drama team but that was decades ago and the task of memorizing lines is now beyond my capabilities. I will also do dramatic reading of Scripture and even the stories in my book, but that's about as far as I'll go. The Lord is the star and I'll let Him have the spotlight. So back stage or in the background will suit my introverted demeanor (which is my natural state) more closely. Cut! Copenator out! | Describe five things you want to see or do before it's too late. 1. Number 2 on my bucket list is to see and experience a waterfall up close and personal. It doesn't have to be anything huge and impressive. It just has to be a waterfall that catches the eye, during free time, and is accessible without breaking the rules or my neck. 2. Fly me to the moon! Well actually the moon is a fascination of mine and has been for years. I don't study it for the astrology part of it, I observe it because it daily; or nightly actually; displays the provision of the Lord to His creation. 3. Uncharted territory for me. My list was only 2 lines long. Desire # 1 was fulfilled in May of 2012 when I rode an elephant at Scarborough Faire in Texas. So here goes. To ride a horse. 4. To see the Holy Land and stand where the Lord stood. 5. To walk for miles and miles on a day when nothing else has to be taken care of or addressed. Now that would be a part of paradise for me, just communing with the Lord as the miles pass, and then returning rejuvenated to face the world one step at a time. I was teasing Rhonda about adding the moon to my bucket list; little did I know at the time the occasion would present itself through the B.C.O.F. prompts. You are beloved! Copenator out! | The morning is just beginning. How dark and still it seems just now. Even the feral cats are fast asleep, or at least not de-furring each other. Mild temperatures in this early start. Oh one wonders if it will be that way all day. Revving up for the day ahead, or just kicking back for a bit more snooze. Now is the time to choose. It's soon going to be full fledged morning and then you've gotta get up. Nap a bit? Read His Word? What do you choose? Going for choice number two today, there's always time for napping during the Monkees, whom my beloved loves to watch on Sunday afternoons. I like them too but sometimes the same reruns run together for me. hehehehe. | I'll hold my tongue. Telling it like it is at times involves stirring up the emotions of the moment. This makes room for the possibility of saying something you don't mean or know you will regret as soon as it leaves your lips. Holding your tongue gives you time to think, to consider, to be cooler when you do in fact make your reply. That's the theory. Putting it into practice is another thing and I've failed at that from time to time. I still have an Irish temper and it can get loose from time to time. | A warmed up tortilla, a little butter and refried beans takes me back every time. Friends up the road were a big part of my circle of friends. Still did not have that many friends even then but they were real friends through and through. Abuse was already changing me into an introvert just trying to survive. | If you could learn to play a musical instrument, one which you've never played before, which would you choose and why? Making a joyful noise unto the Lord is my gift. Yet I've always wanted to learn to sing more formally and distinctly. Vocal expression of my love for Him is often heard where ever I may be. Oh would that I could sing at the top of the mountain and regale the world on His great love. Instruments of music are awesome, but the one who can use his/her voice is amazing to me. Creating a picture in the hearts and minds of those who hear, That is talent and worthy of recognition. Every cause, every need met, is reason to bust out in praise. I just wish I could sing out a little more eloquently. My Voice may not be Operatically trained but I'll still belt out a stanza of praise to the King. Yes! NEED HELP WITH UPGRADES?
