| Living forever is what will happen when I leave this realm and wake up in the heavenly. It's not natural for us to want to live forever. The Christian knows he/she has a date with eternity and living forever would put a damper on the party that will occur day by day in the heavenly realms! Living forever with the maladies that one acquires along the way would be a bit of a drag, unless of course immortality came with total healing. Even then it would be kind of boring, knowing that your loved ones have already passed and those around you have no ideal how old you really are. One nice thing would be the eternity of opportunities to minister to others in this realm who may have not known the saving grace of the Lord or who are just in the morass of day to day living, seeing no hope for the future. Were it so deemed to live for ever, and I had no choice in the matter, that would be my desire. To serve the needs of others as the Lord enables me. Live forever? Not here! See you in heaven and then the partying can resume. Hey we might even meet up and start as B.C.O.F. in the stars. Wouldn't that be cool? See you there beloved! Copenator out! | What's worse: extremely cold weather or extremely hot weather? In the scheme of things I can't function in cold. There is a shut down that happens in that mode. Shivering and chattering of the teeth. All the cliche things. Cold makes me want to so many blankets cling. Oh did I mention the fingers that get sore and rigid. Lots of warming them at the fire and gosh it's just too frigid. Darn it's cold just writing about it, so it's off to the blankets I do go. You are beloved! Copenator out! | This is my favorite of all time. It's a true story about the life of Jesus starring Max Von Sydow as Jesus. Iironically one of his later roles included playing Satan. I still get goose bumps when Lazarus emerges from the tomb. This was filmed during a time in our nations history when it was acceptable to tell the stories of the Bible on the big screen. Then things changed . I remember a day we were rehearsing for a Christmas show in Junior High School, and suddenly we were not able to do that anymore. The Passion of the Christ directed by Mel Gibson is another incredible film of the last days of Jesus. |
| What is your favorite book from childhood? John Carter the Martian Manhunter is one I remember and still like. You see I was a sickly dude and more often than not was stuck inside recovering from one ailment or another. Mom would keep me occupied with books, crossword puzzles and all kinds of other word related items. I see the blessing it was now after all these years. | Chistmas spirit continues year round. People are sharing and caring. Here in the WdC contests are charity central. Winning entrants give their gps to one who needs them. All over the world there are pockets of good cheer breaking out and children are sharing their toys. New is the feeling of hope in the land. Murders are decreasing with such speed statiticians cannot keep up.. Good news is spreading out over the airwaves. Less and less bad news is happening. Everywhere you turn a turn around iin positive attitudes are pushing past the naysayers of gloom and doom. Dearly beloved things have changed and the key element in it all is hope. | What are your New Year's Resolutions? I resolve to seek His will first and not my own. Resolve to continually read His Word one time a day. Echoing the Psalms in praise to Him in good times and bad. Serving Him through the gift of writing in the WdC, Facebook, and the pulpit as He enables. Open my heart and mind to the possibilities that are found in His guidance. Lose all fears that hamper my spiritual growth. Veer from the temptations that are so strong, and run to the light in haste! Evolve into a better husband through His perfect leading and knowledge of the marriage covenant. | You have to give up one of your senses. Which one will it be? The sense of smell because sometimes this world and the things it's occupants do to each other stinks to the high heavens. The examples stack up every day and it becomes hard to even scratch the surface of the violence unleashed upon mankind. Not only the sensationalized murders that the press over kills within an hour, focusing on the profile of the killer more than that of the victim or victims. What they did speaks for itself and the only headline about the killer should be Killer Stinks to the High Heavens as he/she rips through the latest mall or theater. The rest of the news cast needs to be focused on the victims and yet that will never happen because mankind wants to hear the dirt. They want to hear about the filthy stinking killers because of the desensitization of humanity. May the year 2013 be a turn around year where humanity realizes the precious value a human life carries. The very first thing I placed upon this site was a double acrostic which in fact is the name of this blog book; Worthy Is The Lamb; Worthy Are The Children. It is a sanctity of human life write, because I was so devastated to hear that in the year I wrote it an average of 40 million babies were aborted in the United States alone!!!!! That number continues to rise and when people speak out against it they are considered haters and politically incorrect. Well color me PIC because I will never understand the loss of life that mankind inflicts upon him/her, and the victims they take with them. It's sense-less desensitization of the sanctity of human life, and it could very well be the downfall of this country and so many others around this world. | What was the longest amount of time you have spent waiting on line for something? What was it, and was it worth the wait? The line was creeping along. Heck even the creeping was long. Every step of the way seemed like an eternity. Listening to the people in line was entertaining. In other cases it was not so entertaining, if you know what I mean. Nearing to within three yards, the cart was looking like it wanted to flip. Even the wheels were squeaking and the fellow liners were hissing. The Line to the Christmas Layaway; at our neighborhood Walmart; is always a challenge. How long was the wait? The last time we endured it was really only about thirty minutes.  But hey when others are in the same line there are so many factors that make the wait challenging.Was it worth it? Yep! We put our item in layaway and got it out before the close of the layaway period. Good thing too, because it was the last year for a good while before Walmart had layaway. | The most gratifying accomplishment this year was riding an elephant in May 2012. We got so many photos of the Scarborough Faire and a few of the elephant i rode; Bone Crusher; and two videos too. You can see Bone Crusher Cam and a video Rhonda took of the event on youtube. www.youtube.com/Copenator2 The greatest of all so far is the celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary on 12-25-12. We were blessed with a white Christmas for our anniversary, we look at it as His gift to us on our silver anniversary. Yeah! Mission set in 2011 to ride an elephant and accomplished in 05-2012.
