I checked the map and you're right - Kingston's much too far for an easy there-and-back. I'm glad you got to participate at Eden Mills, though.

I used to belong to writer's groups here and have fond memories of readings elsewhere; but that was so long ago.

I don't know if you remember me blogging about this, but Vic's dad had Alzheimer's, and it was 7 years of him just being an empty shell. Vic's mother is in the mid stages where she's violent and combative, Vic ended up placing her in a home because she was hurting the caretakers who were staying in her home with her. I worry about Vic because he is forgetful more and more, his grandparents and his parents all had some form of dementia.

Awesome job, Carly and today's for picking me for your review. I have no idea whether I can complete this today at all because I'm working and my lunch time is at 12pm which is 12am WDC time. I need DST!

Responsibility With Money

30 Day Blogging Challenge

PROMPT March 13th
Are you responsible with your money? Is managing your finances easy for you, or challenging? Do you ever splurge and buy something you can’t afford?

I'd like to think I am responsible with my money, but I am prone to splurges - even if they are extra trips to Starbucks instead of having a coffee at home.

I have tried to use some budgeting apps, but I tend to let my interest wane after awhile. I do try to record my spending in my bullet journal and stay on top of things, but it is easy to forget and let things slip.
