My Search

I

Into the mystic realm,
I let my mind take flight,
Over stone strewn highways,
I search the endless night.

I was the Wanderer,
Looking for a goal,
And the Seeker,
Searching for my soul.

I walked the roads of idle fancy,
Paths of material delight,
Stumbling over stones of vain imaginings,
In my search for the light.

A voice deep within me cried:
"Here doesn't lay your goal,
Upon these darkened pathways,
You'll never find your sou."

II

Into the mystic realm,
Again my mind took flight,
Over well traveled highways,
I search the misty twilight.

I was a Seeer,
Seeking an unknown goal,
And a Stranger,
To my own soul.

In this realm of half-light,
I strolled the roads of tradition,
Picking my way carefully,
Through the shadows of superstition.

Still from within came the cry:
"Not in this realm is your goal,
Upon these half-lit pathways,
You'll never find your soul"

III

Into the mystic realm,
Again I took flight,
And walked the paths,
Where God has shed His light.

I walked the hallowed highways,
Trod by the Prophets of old,
Strolled the ancient paths,
Strewn with nuggets of pure gold.

This is the wondrous realm,
Where all paths become one,
This is the glorious land,
Illuminated by God's sun.

Through the Word of God,
I have found my soul,
In the Messenger for this age,
I have found my goal.

A Link in the Chain and I Am A Link
December 30, 2018 at 12:04pm
A Link in the Chain I am a link in the chain of the development of humankind. I am a link impelling the species forward from the primordial ocean to the edge of the universe. I am one of the links, in this transitional age, encouraging the progress of the race. I Am A Link I am a link in the chain of the evolution of mankind, impelling the race forward-- as it moves from primordial ocean to the edge of infinity. I am one of the links, whose presence in this tran... [Read more]

1 Life is the Rule "...know thou that every fixed star hath its own planets, and every planet its own creatures, and every planet its own creatures, whose numer no man can compute." Baha'u'llah In this boundless universe each galaxy revolves, while beneath their stars intelligence evolves. The planets of each system are blessed with a variety of life, and God in His wisdom aids each creature in its strife. From the smallest one celled creature upon the pl... [Read more]
Death of Judas: A Metaphor for the Duality of Human Nature
April 10, 2018 at 7:08pm
Death of Judas: A Metaphor for the Duality of Human Nature I Speak softly in my presence, Brother! The old man said to the trembling priest, I cannot die until the world ends, Brother! Then, like Him whom I betrayed, I am reborn in the guise of another. II Eternally the battle must continue, Between the two extremes of human nature: Ego will betray the higher self, Unless the soul takes the reigns in hand, And controls the frightened mount. {dropnote:"Poet&#... Double Rainbow and Rainbow
January 19, 2019 at 1:23pm
Double Rainbow Spanning the valley of the shadow, the bridge of God's Covenant unites humanity. The colors of faith form three distinct rows: Red, yellow, and blue cast shadows on mind, body, and soul. Clouds of despair separate the two, hiding the second arch from humanity's view. Rainbow The multicolored arc of God's covenant, Brushed upon the deep gray vault of fear, Subdues the quick flashes of energy, Hopping from cloud to cloud, Dancing from could t... [Read more]
Love Omens: A Mystic Love Poem

Love Omens: A Mystic Love Poem Clouds express the omens of our love in subtle shapes, that mimic faith's own sight. Dawn angels, with their golden wings outspread, foretell a love that lasts forever. Forever and a day is all I ask: shorter would not be time enough to express exactly how I feel, to intone the joy of your presence, or to birth our worlds of paradise. {dropnote:"Poet's Note:"}Date written 156 B.E. Adaption Over Time: Two Poems
February 2, 2019 at 9:08pm
Adaption Over Time In a prehistoric African forest, a child was born, a child that walked and climbed, that held within its being, a soul-- a mirror reflecting the light of divinity-- which directed humanity's adaption over time. This child, this special one, saw spread before him the panorama of humanity's adaption over time. Who was this child, this prehistoric Adam, who reflected to humanity the attributes of divinity? Call him what you will, Prophet of t... [Read more]
